It was a very big decision to sell our family home after living in it for 53 years. But it was the right decision to make as we were still capable of doing the downsizing and packing by ourselves. Putting it off and waiting until you have to rely on someone else to make the decisions of what to sell/ keep/ or give away is more stressful that doing it yourselves.
